Primary to Secondary School

Year 6 students and their families receive information in Term 1 regarding local Secondary Colleges. Students are able to book tours or attend Open Days according to these school's transition processes. 

Year 6 students have opportunities to work with staff and students from local Secondary Colleges throughout their time at Warrnambool West. Towards the end of their final year, year 6 students are involved in a transition program with their future Secondary School. This includes opportunities to visit the school and visits from college staff and students to our school. 

Students also attend a Statewide Orientation Day on the second last Tuesday of the year. All students attending Secondary school the following year attend on this day. Parents will receive more information about this day closer to the date.
