Vision and Values

“To create Lifelong Learners who are engaged with their community.”

A School’s Vision is the long term goal that all stakeholders have for the school and the students.

Our School Vision is a simple statement of the type of school we wish to see. In some aspects it is a reflection of what we have already achieved, in others it is a statement of how we would like to develop the School. Overall it is the common aim for everything we do from preparing lessons, to working with the children, to recruiting new staff, to improving the facilities.

Our Values

RESPECT

Caring, interested, helping, understanding, encouraging

INCLUSIVE

Not left out, everyone, all, complete, diverse

SAFE

Secure, cared for, happy, protected, bully-free

LEARNER

Lifelong learners strive to attain their personal goals, persist and give their best effort always.

Our Values represent the aspirations and beliefs of our school community. They work in conjunction with core traditional community values such as: respect, appropriate manners, democracy, morals, responsibility and honesty.

Our Vision and Values were ‘workshopped’ and chosen by our students, staff and School Council. The words representing each ‘value’ were selected by our students. They are what the students regard as the most appropriate descriptions for each of our ‘values’.
