Our specialist programs inspire creativity, curiosity, and healthy living. From Foundation to Year 6, we provide hands-on learning experiences that empower students to explore their passions and build essential skills for the future.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths)
STEM at Warrnambool West is hands-on and focused on solving real-world problems. Aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, our program connects core science strands with digital coding and design technologies. We are also proud to partner with Deakin University for the GALS program, empowering our female students to become future leaders in science and tech.
Physical Education (PE)
Our PE program builds the movement skills, confidence, and love of activity needed for a healthy life. Students progress from fundamental movement skills in the early years to game strategies and major sports in Years 5 and 6. As a member of School Sport Victoria, we also offer exciting opportunities in district athletics, interschool sports, Hoop Time basketball, and our whole-school swimming program.
Visual Arts
Our Visual Arts program develops students' creative and expressive capacities. Students explore a wide variety of artistic mediums, materials, and techniques to communicate their ideas and express themselves. Projects are thoughtfully designed to celebrate diverse cultures, traditions, and community events in an inclusive and respectful manner.
Music
Our Music program excites the imagination and encourages students to reach their full creative potential. With access to a rich variety of instruments, students develop their musical techniques, build performance confidence, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for music.
