Student safety is our highest priority at Warrnambool West. Part of our duty of care is making sure all families understand when and how students are supervised on school grounds.

Supervision hours

School grounds are supervised from 8:45 am to 3:35 pm every school day. Students on school grounds outside these times are not supervised unless they are attending a structured program or a pre-arranged activity.

We ask that parents and carers ensure students do not arrive before 8:45 am or remain on school grounds after 3:35 pm unless they are attending one of the following:

• Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
• Breakfast Club (open from 8:30 am)
• A pre-arranged supervised extracurricular activity

Before school

Breakfast Club runs every morning from 8:30 am to 8:55 am in the school library and is open to all students.

After school

Our Outside School Hours Care program runs Monday to Friday from 3:20 pm to 6:00 pm. Visit the OSHC page to learn how to register via the Kidsoft Portal.
